Good afternoon. We have a couple important announcements for you:
1. School will be in session on Monday, February 14. The original School Calendar had the wrong date listed for Presidents' Day. School will not be in session on Monday, February 21.
2. High School prom will be held on April 9. More details will be released soon.
3. Jr. High and High School graduation will be held on May 20. Jr High will be held at 6:00 and High School at 7:00. More details will be released soon.
4. Just a reminder as Valentine's Day is approaching, the schools do not accept deliveries for students.

The Galatia-Thompsonville Lady Cats will host the Hardin Co Lady Cougars for an IHSA regional game at GHS on Saturday, 2/12 @ 3:00. The HS boys basketball team will play at Agape on Monday, 2/14 @ 6:00, JV and Varsity games.
Reminder for Jr. High Scholar Bowl- we have a match tomorrow February 9 at Pope County. Don’t forget to wear your scholar bowl shirt and bring money for lunch. Of course this is provided both schools are in session tomorrow.

Road conditions have improved today, but still have many areas busses could not travel through safely. Tomorrow temperatures are expected to be around 50 which should make all areas safe for Wednesday. Due to the continued poor conditions on rural roads, Galatia schools will not be in session on Tuesday February 8th. All games and practices are cancelled for Tuesday. Hope to see everyone Wednesday.
