Today, Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Ruccia’s 3-5th grade summer school attendees learned calm breathing/stretching and how to start the day with a clear mind, designed their own summer camp, made seed bombs for the bees, and engineered a catapult to launch the seeds. The seed bombs were drying, so we had fun launching mini-marshmallows instead.

Attention girls entering grades 7-12 for the upcoming 2022-23 school year: Coach Clayton is hosting her annual basketball camp (held at Thompsonville due to Galatia’s gym renovations) on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s during June, beginning June 7 from 11-1. Transportation is available but seating is limited. Participants needing a ride will should be at GHS no later than 10:40.

Drama Club awards for the cast of The Lion King Jr. will be given out tomorrow at the Grade School during the awards ceremony. Jr. High cast members are welcome to come and recieve their award.
Eighth Grade and Senior graduates can pick up the originally printed diplomas from the JH/HS office between the hours of 8:00am-3:30pm through Tuesday, June 7th. The office will be closed this Thursday afternoon for a retirement event . We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes but Jostens will be reprinting diplomas for Eighth Grade and Seniors. There were some issues with what they sent us: the Eighth Grade diplomas were not the correct size for the diploma cases and Senior diplomas were not printed on the correct type of paper. When the new diplomas are available we will let parents know.
Attention Jr. High/High School students: If you have not received your arm band, you can pick one up at the office. Arm bands were passed out at the grade school last week.
