Just a reminder that Galatia FFA is collecting monetary donations this week to help our fellow FFA members in Kentucky who were impacted by the tornado. Donations can be given to FFA members or dropped off at the high school. Thank you for your support!

The grade school Christmas program on Friday will be open for parents. Doors will open at 8:20, and masks must be worn to enter the building. We will also be putting a link out so those who can not attend will be able to watch the program online. We are so happy we are able to have the Christmas program back this year, and have parents in attendance. We look forward to seeing you.
The 2021-22 Girls Little GEC Basketball Tourney will be played @ Gallatin Co on January 4-5 with a snow date on January 6. The seeding for the tournament is as follows:
1-Pope Co; 2-Thompsonville; 3-Gallatin Co; 4-Galatia.
Jan. 4: Thompsonville vs. Gallatin @ 6:00, followed by Pope Co vs. Galatia.
Jan. 5: 3rd place game at 6:00, Championship game to follow.
High School Art Club students held an art workshop Friday- visiting grade school classrooms and doing a holiday craft together. 🎄
Galatia FFA members will have their lights float set up in the high school baseball field parking lot this afternoon handing out treats beginning at 5:00. We are also collecting money for our fellow FFA members in Kentucky who were affected by the tornado. We will be accepting donations of money and TSC & Rural King gift cards at our float tonight and at the high school this week. Any help will be appreciated!

Petal Pushers Flower Shop in Harrisburg is collecting items for the people impacted by the tornados in Mayfield, Kentucky. We will be collecting non-perishable food, hygiene items, and baby items at both of our schools. We will deliver them to Petal Pushers so they can deliver them to those in need. Galatia FFA members had a great time participating in the Ridgway lights parade walking and handing out FFA stickers to the crowd.

Update: tonight’s 12/10 HS boys basketball game has been rescheduled to Tuesday, 12/21 @ Crab Orchard, 6:00 JV start followed by varsity game.
Galatia FFA members had a great time at the Harrisburg Lights Parade walking with their float. A big thanks to the Section and State FFA officers that joined us!
Tonight’s (12/10) HS boys basketball game at Crab Orchard will start at 5:30, varsity game only. The bus will leave @ 4:30.
Our SIC English class surprised Mr. Corum today IN PERSON! They have truly enjoyed having him as a teacher this semester and wish him the best. Thank you for being awesome, Mr. Corum!
Galatia Grade School will be open starting tonight at 6pm as a safe shelter from the potential storm threat..please help spread the word.
