Staff Spotlight: Tamara Neumann. Tamara has been the school nurse for the district for a total of seven years. She has also served as a cheerleading sponsor in the past.
Tamara said her favorite part about working at Galatia Schools is: "the kids and the co-workers."
Tamara's coworkers had this to say: "Tammy always goes above & beyond to help the kids, she loves to laugh & joke with them. She truly cares about the students & staff at Galatia. We are thankful to have her. "
We asked her some interesting questions:
Question: What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people are aware of?
Response: I have 3 snakes, 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 9 cats. At one time I had 15 dogs, a raccoon and a opossum. I love animals!
Question: What was the first concert you ever attended?
Response: I grew up in STL and won tickets to a KISS concert from KSHE95. I have now seen them 16 times.
Thank you Tammy for all your hard work!

Congratulations to our Quarter 3 Junior High Honor Roll students!

Yesterday we planted flowers at GGS. We beat the rain & made the front of the school beautiful. Thanks to Mr. Joe & Mr. Higgins for helping the kids plant the flowers. 🌸🌷🌻🌾

Enjoy it before it’s gone, it goes by way faster than you think. Trust me I hated going to school and I'm still gonna miss it.

Bite off more than you can chew. You will adapt to the work load and begin to learn traits of hard work. Your circle will get smaller and smaller. You cannot blame others for their life choices and how they grow as a person, worry about yourself and that's it.

Senior Parents! It's that time again! Senior Baby Ads for the yearbook are due on May 5. The cost is $25. (Checks can be made payable to Galatia High School.) You can send them to the HS office, or email them to Ms. Newcomb at anewcomb@galatiak12.org. Also, baby pictures for the slide show are due by May 5 as well. We would like to have 3 to 4 pictures of each student, from baby to present.
We have a staff member that has lost her wedding rings either in the school, playground, or parking lot today. If you or your child finds them, please turn them in the office. Thank you.
