Reminder: Tomorrow night, 2/17/2023 will be senior night for high school boys' basketball and cheerleaders. All senior parents need to be at the game no later than 5:50. We will recognize seniors starting at 6:00. In addition to senior recognition, tomorrow's game with Carrier Mills will be a memorial night for Mr. John Cummins. We will accept donations in memory of Mr. Cummins. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.

Last Friday, Galatia Grade School had a "glow" dance party to celebrate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and the end of the last 9 weeks! Everyone had glow wands and glow bracelets and necklaces. The students (and staff) had so much fun and begged to do it again soon.

Also, The HS Boys basketball team will Host Senior night against Carrier Mills this Friday 2/17 at 6:00pm at GHS. There is only one Varsity game on senior night, and the seniors will be presented before the start of the game, at 6:00. Thanks
Order forms have been sent home for T-shirts for Seussical. All cast members K-5 that signed up to do the play will receive a free shirt. Here is a picture of what the shirts look like. Orders are due March 22nd. Thanks.

Seussical Cast grades 3-5. Reminder that we start play practice this Monday. We will have practice also Tuesday and Thursday. All practices will be from 3 to 4:30.
The Galatia/Thompsonville TrapCats are hosting the Senior night dinner Tuesday, February 14, at Thompsonville High School at 5:00pm. Tickets are available at the door and carry out is also available.
We had an amazing time having a Glow Dance for the kids for PBIS. We love teaching SEL this year. It has had such a positive impact.

Just a reminder that the 6th grade class is still selling Florida Strawberries. Money and orders are due February 17. $30/flat or $16/half flat. Delivery will be the week of March 6. If you want to make an order please reach out to a sixth grade student/family.
A Couple of sports announcements: The High School Girls Basketball team will host a regional quarterfinal game on Saturday 2/11 at GHS at 5:30pm against Elverado. please come out to support the Galatia Lady Bearcats. Also, the HS boys baseball team will hold an open Field Monday, February 13th from 3:00-5:00 at the field. If it is raining it will be moved to the gym for cardio, please bring appropriate attire.
