Bearcats, the decision to have school tomorrow or not was a tougher decision this afternoon. Many roads are much safer to travel, but some portions of bus routes, and many driveways where students walk to get on a bus are still ice covered. The region will see low temperatures tonight causing refreezing and the potential of black ice tomorrow morning. Based on these factors, Galatia Schools will not be in session on Friday, February 3, 2023. See everyone on Monday.
Bearcats, today’s sunshine helped make many of our roads much safer to travel, but many roads remain covered with ice. Due to poor conditions on many of our secondary roads, Galatia Schools will not be in session on Thursday, February 2, 2023. All practices and extra-curricular events are also cancelled.

In an effort to get teams home as early as possible, Pope Co. has moved the HS girls GEC game tonight, to a 4:00 start time in Pope County. the bus will leave from the HS at 2:00 today. Thanks
