New Early College Program Students: Students received a letter at school from Mrs. Love if they qualified for the Early College Program. Galatia High School will host a New Student Orientation on Wednesday, March 16 starting at 5 PM in the High School Computer Lab. During the orientation, you and your parent/guardian will learn about the Early College Program including, responsibilities, choosing your class, locating textbooks, and more. It is important as a new student to the Early College Program that you attend this informative meeting. Great job Rylee Allen, Hollyn McCabe and Maddie Walker (Pope Co) for representing the Little GEC during the 2022 Southern Illinois Premier Jr High All-Star Classic held at Rend Lake College.

Galatia FFA members competed at District Proficiency Awards with their FFA record books. Congratulations to Grayson Rann on his first place win and on moving on to compete at state. Also, congratulations to all of the other members that competed, as they all finished 2nd in their areas. Great job members on all of your hard work and good luck Grayson at state!

Piper has had busy couple of weeks.. getting to hang out in Mrs. McCabe’s 2nd grade class last week on Dr Seuss’ birthday & getting some extra snuggles from the kiddos. He is loved by the students & staff!!

Just a reminder we have a 2pm dismissal tomorrow(Thursday 10th) ! And no student attendance on the Friday 11th!

The 2022 JH volleyball regionals will be held at Ewing Grade School on 3/15 and 3/16. Admission is $2 for students (K-8) and $3 for HS students and above.

The Trapcats will have practice tomorrow, March 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 @ Rend Lake shooting complex.

Spring Pictures are next week at the Grade School.

Attached are the 2022 Galatia-Thompsonville March, April & May baseball/softball practice schedules. Coaches will update players of any changes.
