Attached is an updated 2022 Little GEC Boys Basketball Bracket (as of 1/14). The first games played on Tuesday and Wednesday have been moved up to 5:00 so that the gym can be emptied & cleaned prior to the following game. All games will be played at GHS.

Tonight's (1/11) JH girls and JH boys basketball games are cancelled. As of now, tonight's (1/11) HS boys game is still on. The HS girls game on 1/12 is cancelled. The JH boys Little GEC tournament games scheduled for 1/13 will be played at Gallatin Co. The Little GEC tournament will resume at Galatia on 1/18. Please see the attached bracket for updates. The HS girls game on 1/13 has been cancelled and we will not play at Elverado on 1/17 but will play in the consolation bracket on 1/18 @ 6:30. The HS boys game on 1/14 has been cancelled.
The first Kitty Kat practice has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan. 18 6-7pm at the FLOC. The second practice on Thursday, Jan. 20th 6-7pm will remain the same.

Southeastern Illinois College has announced the President’s and Vice President’s lists for the fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for the President’s and Vice President’s lists, students must take a minimum of six credit hours in the summer and 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters, in addition to having a stellar grade point average.
Attached is the 2022 Little GEC Boys Basketball Tournament bracket, hosted by Galatia. GEC passes will not be accepted. The tournament will be held on 1/13 @ GGS & GHS and 1/18-20 @ GHS.
Students in grades 5-8 interested in JH volleyball will need to attend open gym on Wednesday, Jan 12. Start time depends on the result of the JH girls regional basketball game on 1/11. A post will be made after the basketball game to let parents/guardians know what time VB open gym will be held (3-5 or 5-7). If you have questions or if your child is a cheerleader and wants to participate, please contact coach Ayshia Johnson at 618-926-8585.

In order to give our bus drivers extra time to run their afternoon bus routes, we will be dismissing at 2:00 p.m. today. We will follow our normal 2:00 dismissal procedures where we begin loading busses at approximately 1:40. If you have any questions please contact the school office.
