The Saline County CEO Trade Show is today at SIC from 4-6pm. Galatia students Nevaeh McDonald and Lucy Mortag will be showcasing their very own businesses! Go purchase some great products and support these entrepreneurs! 🛍️
The Winnie the Pooh play is this Friday and Saturday. The play will start at 6:00 and doors will open at 5:30 at the Grade School. You can by reserved seats for $10 or bleacher seats for $5 at the door. We will also be selling T-shirts, DVDs, and Raffle Tickets for a Galatia Bearcat cornhole set. Please come join us on our adventure into the Hundred Acre Woods.

We want to give a big thank you to SIC, Mark Thomas and Doug Mayfield for donating a welder to our shop program. This will improve our facility by expanding opportunities for students in our welding program. We appreciate everything SIC does for our students and our programs!

The Winnie the Pooh cast is sell tickets for a raffle to win a set of Galatia Bearcat corn hole set. It will come with bags as well. You can also purchase them at the school in Mrs. Gunning's room. You can get 3 for $10 or 1 for $5 . This is help redo the stage floor. We will pick the winner the last night of the play. You can also purchase them the nights of the play. Congratulations to the Galatia FFA Ag Mechanics team on placing 3rd in the Section 25 contest! Max Avery placed 2nd individually in the ag power division. Garrett Arnold placed 1st in the surveying division and now moves on to compete at the state contest in Peoria. Great job team!

Baseball update for today (4/13): the varsity game originally scheduled at CCA is canceled.
There is now a jv baseball game at Norris City. 4:30 start time.

Juniors and seniors along with their guests will be attending prom at Galatia High School on April 18. The community is invited to attend Promenade which will begin at 6 and the dance is 7-10.
