Galatia FFA members had a busy week of competition. They placed 4th in the Section 25 Archery contest and they placed 5th in the Section 25 Ag Sales contest. Great job teams!

Do you hold an Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university or at least 60 semester hours of coursework from a regionally accredited college or university? If so, you are eligible for a Short Term Substitute License. If interested in pursuing this licensure and subbing for Galatia Schools, please contact one of the school secretaries or administrators.
These Galatia Cross Country members left at 6am this morning traveling to Trenton Illinois and raced in our biggest competition of the season. 47 girls & 75 boys completed the field, while some didn't medal all 5 of these kiddos had personal best times today. Goals were set & crushed today! Congratulations to all you, one proud coach here! Hard work pays off. Congrats Bailey on your 9th place finish! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🫶🏻

Support the Junior Class and come out and shop, eat, and socialize at our Fall into Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair Event. It will be held at Galatia High School on October 28 from 9-4
Come on out and support the Senior Class at the Car Show on October 14th from 9-2. Registration will be held at the event.

Galatia Cross Country had a busy week. Tuesday we ran at the Goreville Invite on a very hilly & treacherous course, several of these guys had personal best times & pushed themselves hard. Bailey Downing finished with 3rd place.
Today we ran at Vienna it was very hot day with more hills, As a team our boys finished in 4th place, Bailey Downing ran a personal best time & finished in 1st place. AJ Downing took home 10th place while Colin Jenkins finished 13th. So proud of these kids!! Hard work pays off.
Congratulations going out to our JH Softball team on their win in the first round of regional play tonight. They will play again on Wednesday, September 20th, at 2:00pm at New Simpson Hill.
