Our Christmas Musical is Friday, December 20th at 9am. Our students have been working extremely hard so I hope you’re making plans to attend! Here are a few details about the musical.
1. Attire is “christmasy” (think red, green or Christmas themed shirts. Dresses are fine too)
2. If your child has a solo and would like the YouTube link, then please email me at lwinkleman@galatiak12.org and I will email you the link.
3. If your child signed up for a speaking part then they should have it memorized. Please encourage them to speak loudly, clearly and with excitement!
4. I'm needing several scarves. If you have some that you can donate, please go ahead and begin sending them.
5. Doors will open at 8:30am
GHS Senior Class is hosting a Craft & Vendor Fair on Saturday November 23, 2024 from 9a.m to 4p.m. This will be held at Galatia High School. We will feature local artisans for all your gift shopping. We have a gym full of vendors. We will have concessions including delicious BBQ by Mr. Billy Carlton, raffles, and a wide range of silent auction items. Come and join us. There are items for males and females of all ages.
Senior Parents. The craft/vendor fair for our class is this Saturday. Students can earn profit for their senior trip starting at 7 a.m. helping vendors unload. They will pack up around closing time at 4p.m. Students may also work concessions. Students will need to sign in and out that day with Mrs. Disney or Mr. Jones. Parents may also help to earn money for their child. Another way to earn profit is to bring a item, or basket for the silent auction. If you send an item, whatever it sells for will go into that students account. Contact Mrs. Disney-Walrack if you have any questions.
There have been some changes and rescheduled dates in junior high basketball, so attached is an updated schedule.
Come join us for the Polar Express Experience. Tickets are $10 a person. Final Sales will be December 10th. If your child would like to come, but does not have to money right now. We had some donations of $200. This will be first come first serve. Please message jgunning@galatiak12.org about the free tickets. This will be a great Christmas Experience for the kids. Families are more than welcome to come. Tickets are be purchased in the Grade School Office. All proceeds go the the Grade School Drama Club.

The 2nd graders put on a Veterans Day program on Friday. They talked about the history of Veterans Day and sang several patriotic songs. They also had a wall of heroes displayed at the program. We are thankful for the brave men and women who have served our country! 🇺🇸
