If you are having meals delivered to students at your house starting tomorrow the staff members will honk when pulling up and we are asking that someone come out to get the meals. This is for our safety and yours. Yesterday one staff member was almost bitten by a dog.

With much sadness, the GGS Drama Club's performance of The Lion King Jr. scheduled for May 1st and 2nd has been cancelled. We will perform The Lion King Jr. next year and we hope to allow students the option of keeping their roles.
Starting on Tuesday, March 17, the local churches and Galatia schools will be providing grab and go lunches from 11:30 to 12:30 each day at the First Baptist Church FLOC building. If you are unable to make it to the church we will deliver a meal to you. If you plan on picking up a meal or need one delivered we are asking you call the grade school office or the high school office. If you have any questions please call one of the schools.

4th Grade February Students of the Month

Reminder: The State of Illinois law requires all students in kindergarten, second, sixth and ninth grade to have a dental exam completed. Students in these grades are required to show proof of having a dental exam completed by a licensed dentist to the school district by May 15, 2020. Exams must have been completed within eighteen months prior to the May 15th deadline. An appointment after the May 15th deadline will not meet this requirement. Report cards may be held if your student is not in compliance with this law. If your student is unable to meet this requirement, please contact me for a waiver form. This form is required to be filed with the school district prior to the May 15, 20120 deadline. Junior and Seniors will be attending the Harrisburg High School Job/Career Fair tomorrow, March 10 from 9 to 10 at Harrisburg High School. If you have not sent a permission slip please write down that you give permission and list your name, student name, date and HHS Job Fair.
