Here’s a picture of our 8th grade students after today’s (5/20) promotion practice! Reminder to 8th grade students/parents: please be at LCC tomorrow, 5/21, between 5:00 - 5:15 if you want individual pictures. If not, participants need to be there by 5:30 for the group picture. The promotion ceremony will start @ 6:00.

Not pictured is Mollie Peterson: the 2nd hour American History award winner. Mrs. Lynch would like to congratulate all of them. Great job this year!
Here are some of the History Award recipients from the high school. Kayleigh Brantley and Emma Stricklin were the top overall grades in their respective World History classes. Lucas Stricklin won the award for Modern History.

The watercolor wings have been installed in front of the cloud mural just in time for our seniors last day! The wings are made with watercolor feathers painted by our high school students. I want to give Allie Stricklin and Mariah Fletcher a BIG thank you for their help!!! #skysthelimit
Last night was Scholarship Awards. Class of 2021 has been awarded over $144,000. Also, recognized last night was Tate LaBarge for enlisting in the Army. We hope you always take the moments, hold on to them deeply and be grateful for all your moments. Congratulations!

Baccalaureate will be held at the FLOC tomorrow, Wednesday at 6:30pm. This is being held for this years seniors and last years seniors. Students will not be wearing their robes but should wear nice dress clothes. Everyone is invited. No stipulations!
Graduation is Friday night at Little Chapel Church. 8th grade is at 6 and seniors will be at 7 p.m. Graduation is open to the public.

Today’s 5/17 BB/SB home games vs Carrier Mills may start as early as 4:00. Also, our senior Maycee Murphy will be recognized today, so come out and show your support!!!
