Southern Illinois Healthcare is accepting applications for the High School Summer Internship program. This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore multiple areas in the medical field and gain invaluable experience. Students should see Ms. Hamson to apply.

Red & White Night will be held on 11/22, admission is $1 per person. Events begin at 6:00, dinners will be available at 5:00. HS girls BKB team is selling advanced tickets for their chicken dinner fundraiser, provided by Hometown BBQ. Dinner includes 1/2 bbq chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, dessert, and tea/water for $10. (Dessert will be donated by Angie’s Eats & Sweets). You can buy tickets early from any HS girls basketball player or at GS/HS office. A limited number of dinners will be offered for sale at Red & White night so please make sure to buy your dinner in advance ASAP!!
Mrs. McCabe’s 2nd Grade class finished their “Thank a Veteran” project today. We talked about what Veterans do and have done for our country and the sacrifices they make and have made for all of us to remain free. They wrote thank you notes to them thanking them for their service.

Congratulations to the Galatia FFA/Trap Cats Trap teams on their 1st and 2nd place finishes at the Section Trap Shooting contest at Harrisburg Hunters Club in Carrier Mills.
2nd and 3rd grade field trip to The Zone in Mt. Vernon,IL. The kids had lots of fun.
