Reminder: Paragon Fundraiser pick-up is today from 1:20 - 3:30 p.m. at the Grade School parking lot. Please look for the Paragon van.
Attached is the 2020-2021 Balfour Letter Jacket brochure, price sheet and order form. Our Balfour representative will be at GHS on Thursday, November 12th so that students can try on the letter jacket sizers and place their jacket orders (letter jackets cannot be ordered online). A $100 down payment or payment in full is required on order day. If you have an award letter that you would like sewn on your jacket, Balfour will do so at NO CHARGE if you turn in your letter when you place your order on November 12th.

Please find the 2020-2021 Balfour Class Ring brochure. All class ring prices can be viewed online at balfour.com. Our Balfour representative will be at the high school on Thursday, November 12th so that students can view the class ring display, get their fingers sized and ask questions. Mrs. Disney-Walrack has some plastic ring sizers. Class ring orders can then be placed online at balfour.com. Once completed, rings will ship directly to students at their home address. All Galatia HS class ring orders placed online before November 25th will receive a FREE Kendra Scott necklace.

The 2nd grade classes talked about pumpkin life cycles this week. They carved a pumpkin and checked out the insides of it as well. They took a vote on if they liked baked pumpkin seeds. The ayes have it!

Our district is pairing up with the Harrisburg School District to participate in the Weekend Backpack Food for Kids Program through the Tri-State food bank. Students were given a packet regarding the program today. Every student is eligible. All you need to do is complete the form attached to the letter and sign the bottom.NO OTHER DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED. If we do not have a signed form for your child, they cannot receive the bag of food. The bags will be handed out on Thursdays. They will include 16 items; 4 entrees, 4 fruit cups, 2 cereals, 2 juices, 2 milks and 2 snacks. All items are shelf stable. If you have any questions, please call your child's school office.
