Jr. High Enrichment Class researched different types of bridges and then built their version of the bridge they thought would be the sturdiest.

Congratulations Jr Lady Bearcats for your SIJHSAA game 1 win over Cypress-Buncombe, 14-4! The girls will play Crab Orchard in their semifinal game on 9/23, @ Crab Orchard, 3:30 start.

Today's (9/21) softball regional game @ Cypress has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 9/22 @ 5:00. Bus departure time is 3:00.

Sabrina's bus route will not run tomorrow morning or afternoon. This is for September 22 and Sabrina's route only. If you absolutely cannot make other arrangements to get your child(ren) to and from school tomorrow, please call the building secretary and we will help you make other arrangements.

Today’s (9/18) JH softball game at Galatia has been moved to Carrier Mills, 11:00 start.

Jr High boys basketball open gym on Saturday, September 18 will be at the GS gym from 9-11 AM.

If your child has received the COVID-19 vaccine please email or send in a copy of their vaccination card to the school . If you have any questions please call the school nurse. 618-297-4520.

We have partnered with IDPH to implement testing in our schools. Students will bring home testing consent forms today. Testing is not required. If you choose to sign the consent form you will still be contacted before your child is tested. Link to consent forms. https://5il.co/z6ow

The volleyball game scheduled for Tuesday, September 21 @ GHS has been canceled.

See You at the Pole is on Wednesday, September 22nd at 7:40am at Galatia High School. Unfortunately, it will not be held at the Grade school this year. Also due to Covid, there will be no breakfast outside.
