Galatia Pre-K
Our plan is to begin class on Monday, August 16, 2021. Our grant requires us to make home visits but do to the current outbreaks being reported, we are making home visit phone calls to everyone this Wednesday-Friday, instead of physical home visits.
I do not have class lists at home, but I will be returning to school on Wednesday if you wish to call me then. If you requested a certain class, I did my best to accommodate you.
PreK will be participating in the open house Wednesday as well, so please feel free to stop by, see the classroom, bring supplies, etc.

Attention JH baseball players: there will be a 30-45 minute meeting tomorrow morning (Aug 7) at the HS baseball field @ 10:00 am to pass out uniforms. Junior High and High School students can pick up their schedule during Open House on Wednesday, August 11th between 5-6:30PM.
Attention HS volleyball and Trapcats (grades 6-12)!!! HS volleyball tryouts (grades 9-12) will be held on Monday, Aug 9 and Tuesday, Aug 10 from 9-11 AM in the HS gym.
There will be a Trapcats meeting on Thursday, Aug 12 @ 6:00 PM in the HS gym for existing and new team members and their parents. The purpose of the meeting is to review the upcoming season and inform new members of the requirements for joining the Trapcats shooting team. Masks will be required and a temperature checks will be conducted upon entry.

Reminder: Students entering Kindergarten will need a school physical, updated immunizations, and eye exam. Students entering 6th grade will need a school physical and updated immunizations. Students entering 9th grade will need a school physical. Students entering 12th grade will need a second meningococcal vaccine. These things need to be done before the first day of school. If you have any questions please email the school nurse at ariddle@galatiak12.org
Online Registration is now open through Aug. 3, 2021. This is only for returning students that do not have an address change. Parents will need to login to their Teacherease account. If you are a new student or a returning student that has an address change you will need to come to in-person registration on Thursday, July 29, 2021.
In person K-12 registration is on Thursday, July 19, 2021 from 12:00-7:00pm at Galatia High School Gym. This is for any new students, returning students with address change, or for someone that does not feel comfortable completing the online registration on their own.
