Class of 2025 Parents,
Each year students are given fundraisers to help provide funds toward their homecoming, junior prom, and senior trip - yes this starts their freshman year. Mrs. Disney-Walrack and Mrs. Love will be the sponsors for the class of 2025. Throughout the year, we will have meetings with students to go over fundraisers and goals. We hope the students work hard to be able to have an amazing senior trip and other high school events.
The first fundraiser will be CoffeeDriven, students earn 40% of the profit for in-person sales and 30% for online sales. This fundraiser will be due to Mrs. Love or Mrs.DIsney-Walrack by October 1, 2021. We are encouraging in-person, but if you have family and friends that would like to order online, please send them the link https://www.drivencoffeefundraising.com/ref/galatia-class-of-2025/. They must use the link in order for the student to receive credit. In the spring, freshmen will be selling ButterBraids, we will provide more detail on that fundraiser once it approaches.

Attention JH cheerleaders: tryouts will be held on Wednesday, Sept 15 from 5:00-6:30 at the GS. Softball players wanting to tryout will need to attend after softball practice.
We have extra copies of the 2020-2021 Jr. High and Grade School Yearbook for $12. Please contact Mrs. Mayberry at gmayberry@galatiak12.org if you would like one.
The HS volleyball game @ Carrier Mills on Tuesday, Sept 7 will be played at Carrier Mills Grade School, 6:00 start.

September High School Math Tutoring Schedule:
There will be high school tutoring for math available in Mr. Thomas Morgan's room on Tuesdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm during the month of September.
There will also be high school tutoring for math on an as needed basis during high school lunches with Mrs. Launius. These sessions will need to be set up in advance with her.

The Galatia-Thompsonville Trapcats are hosting a recruiting day for new Galatia-Thompsonville shooters in grades 6-12 at the Rend Lake Shooting Complex tomorrow, Saturday, August 28 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The event is free, participants don't need to bring any equipment, everything needed will be provided. This is a great opportunity to see what being a Trapcat is all about!
