This is Teacher Appreciation Week! Galatia schools are blessed with an amazing teaching staff. Teachers were provided a meal as a thank you yesterday for a little celebration.
Students/Parents/Guardians, we encourage you to let you teachers know how much you appreciate them.
Flower Day is this Friday(weather permitting) at the Grade School.
Last night Olivia McGhee, Sean McClusky, and Mollie Peterson were recognized at the Southern Illinois Society for High School Achievement banquet. This year was also Galatia High School’s turn to coordinate the event.
The Galatia-Thompsonville baseball team will play Century at Shawnee College on Monday, May 2. On Tuesday, May 3 they will host Gallatin Co @ 4:30. The softball game on May 3 has been cancelled.

The Beta induction banquet will be held in the high school cafeteria starting at 6pm on Thursday, May 5th. All Beta students are highly recommended to attend. Galatia FFA members celebrated another successful year at the Section 25 FFA banquet. Congratulations to Lucy Peterson on being elected section president and Kayleigh Brantley on being elected section treasurer. They will serve the 13 schools in Section 25 during the 2022-23 school year. Congratulations!

There will be a parent/player meeting on Thursday, April 28 @ 5:00 PM @ the HS baseball field for students currently in grades 4-7 who are interested in playing JH baseball during the 2022-23 season.
4/26 Softball game will be played @ NCOE, 4:30 start. Baseball will play @ GHS pending field conditions.

Senior recognition night for the Galatia-Thompsonville softball team will be Monday, May 9 vs Webber. Baseball senior recognition will be held on Thursday, May 12 vs Eldorado.
