Had a great wrap-up to FFA week with a visit from the IL FFA State Reporter Levi Maierhofer. He gave a great presentation to our group and led them through an activity on adapting to change. We also had our final dress-up day. Thanks to everyone who supported us this week!



Attention: There will be open field held for HS softball on Monday, 2/27 after school at the GHS field. Please have a physical before practice. There will also be tryouts held for HS baseball on Monday, 2/27 and Tuesday, 2/28 at GHS field after school from 3-6 thanks

Attention: There is no tournament at Carrier Mills for JH volleyball this year. the next JH volleyball game will be on Monday, Feb 27th against Carrier Mills at 6:00. There will be a c game with a start time of 5:30. Thanks
During this busy FFA month, we want to recognize and congratulate our seniors that earned their FFA State Degrees! Also, congratulations to our Conduct of Chapter Meetings team on their second place finish at the Section 25 contest! They will compete at the district contest in March.


It's been a busy and fun FFA week with dress up days and activities. Today, FFA members cooked pancakes and sausage for staff and students and some of our members are competing at public speaking tonight!




Parents,
We have a student experiencing a medical need in the grade school building that required we call an ambulance. The student is being treated by medical staff. If medical personnel are still on the scene at dismissal time students will exit out of the playground gate. Please make every effort to stay clear of medical personnel and their vehicles.
Galatia Summer Youth League will hold in person signups this Saturday, February 25, 9am to 12pm in the high school cafeteria. Forms also went home from school Tuesday and can be returned to school. Cost is $45 per player. Remember, you must be signed up by March 11 to make sure uniforms can be ordered in a timely fashion. ⚾️ 🥎 We are looking forward to a great season!

Today is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We would like to recognize our awesome bus drivers for getting all our kiddos to and from school safely each day. Thank you all for your hard work!
