Galatia Cross Country ran a cool & windy race today in McLeansboro at the Roger Lee Invite. Lots of Personal Records(PR)set today by everyone. Colin Jenkins 25th & Bailey Downing 8th both with new PR's. Shoutout to Haleigh Oslay for her best PR of the season. So proud of each of them! Wish them luck as we travel to the GEC conference race on Thursday at Pope! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Congratulations to the Galatia FFA soil judging teams! The varsity team placed 3rd with Max placing 1st overall individual and Eli placing 9th overall individual. The jv team placed 1st with Kinsley placing 1st overall individual, Josie placing 4th overall individual, and Gavin placing 6th overall individual. Great job teams!

Tonight is our last home volleyball game so we will be celebrating our senior volleyball players. We will also be recognizing senior athletes participating in cross country and golf. The ceremony will take place directly after the jv game. Come out and support the team and our senior athletes!

Parents, This week Galatia Schools will conduct safety drills with the sheriff's office and the fire department. These drills have been planned for several weeks and are required by state law. This morning the sheriff's department will be at all district schools to observe a drill. If you see police cars at the district buildings please do not be alarmed.

Galatia FFA members competed in the Section 25 Tractor Driving and Soil Judging contests today. Congratulations to Wyatt and Tristen on their first place team finish in tractor driving! The soil judging team anxiously awaits the results of their contest as it will take a bit for all of the cards to be scored.
