Our Jr. Bearcats softball team has earned the #1 seed in their regional! They start postseason play on 9/24 and with the #1 seed have earned the right to home field throughout the regional tournament. Great job girls and good luck at regionals!

We are proud to announce that after our run of drug dogs this morning, Galatia JH/HS was drug & alcohol free. We are so proud of our student body and the good choices they are making. Keep it up Bearcats!
Galatia JH/HS has a police presence this morning due to a scheduled inspection. There is no safety concern. The school will be placed on a brief soft lockdown (movement in the building permitted). Thank you.

Galatia Ag students took a "field trip" with the FFA combine to experience corn harvest today. Students were able to get a close up lesson on how a combine works and the corn harvesting process. This was a great learning experience for the students to see one of the steps it takes to get their food from the farm to the table. A special thanks goes out to Hale Farms and Little Tractor and Equipment for making this hands on experience possible!
The senior class will be hosting a junior high Halloween dance on October 24th from 7:00-10:00. Information can be found on the flyer attached.
Open gym for junior high basketball will be held tonight (Monday 9/15) and Wednesday (9/17) this week at 6:00 in the grade school gym.
The 4th grade class is sponsoring a cereal drive to help benefit the Galatia Food Pantry. Each class to collect 20 boxes will receive an ice cream sandwich party. Please help us meet our goal!

Our Jr Lady Bearcats competed in and won the Harrisburg Round Robin Tournament today. The girls beat Waltonville 7-3 and defeated Harrisburg 5-2. Congratulations, ladies!

Come out and celebrate the 8th grade Baseball and Softball players today! The boys play Unity Christian and the girls play Pope Co. Games begin at 4:30pm. Boys 8th grade recognition begins at 4:15pm and girls 8th grade recognition begins at 4pm. ⚾🥎❤️🖤
