The fifth and sixth grade teachers have received the Winnick Family Foundation Transportation Grant for attending the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in April. The amount will cover the transportation costs and admission to the museum.
Fifth grade is studying about colonial times. We learned how to dry fruit for winter storage, and make candles! We had so much fun!

Proud of the Galatia Bearcats! Last week the Bearcat boys finished tied for 2nd place at the Vienna Classic going 3 wins and 2 losses. Wins over Cobden, Carrier Mills, and Century. The only losses were to 2A schools Vienna and Eldorado.
Senior forward Dominic Ammon and Junior guard Braxton Lane received all-tournament team honors!!!
