The Galatia Senior class is hosting the annual Fazolis dinner on Saturday, January 5th from 4-6pm in the high school cafeteria. Purchase tickets from a senior or at the door that evening. $10 per person for spaghetti, breadsticks, salad, dessert, and tea or water.
The boy's basketball team will be playing Thompsonville that evening! Come out to support the Seniors AND the Galatia Bearcats!
Jr High students eligible for our field trip on January 3, 2019 who have not already turned in their permission forms must have them signed by their parent/guardian and ready to turn in by 8:00 AM on 1/3/19.

Jr High Boys basketball practice for tonight, 12/19, is cancelled.
The Galatia FFA will be holding a small lights parade in Galatia tonight starting at 6:30. They will start at the high school and take the Old Settlers Days parade route to Russell's side parking lot where they will hand out treats to the kids until 7:30. If anyone is interested in joining the parade with a lighted street legal vehicle, you may join them at the high school at 6:30.
Galatia Grade School would like to thank Jason Lindsey with Hooked on Science for performing 3 fantastic assemblies today. It was a fun and exciting day of science at the Grade School.
The bus for today's Jr. High Basketball game @ Gallatin Co. will leave the GS @ 5:00. JV players need to wear their uniforms under their clothes.

Tuesday, December 18th, is just Christmas theme: colors, hats such as Santa, elf, reindeer antlers etc (no ballcaps!), or go all out as your favorite Christmas character!

Congratulations to the High School JV and Varsity Scholar Bowl teams. They had a double header against Carrier Mills today and won all four matches. The JV are now 4-2 in conference and Varsity is 3-3 in conference. Great job to both teams!
