We would like to thank our 2nd grade parents and grandparents for their donations to our class baskets. Come on out to the fall carnival tonight for a chance to bid on these Crock-Pot baskets.



4th grade Citizens of the Month are Cayden Wallace and Haleigh Oslay! These two are great examples of kind hearts and helping hands! We are so proud of you!



Tomorrow is the last day for Red Ribbon Week at the Grade School. We are "Ready To Live A Drug Free Life!!" Wear the color red.

Kitty Kat registration forms are being sent home to all PK - 5th grade students. The cost is $30. Students will be performing during the Red/White Night on Nov 16 and Homecoming on Dec 7. Practice will begin on Nov 12. Contact Alex Jackson or Lana Marvel if you have questions.

Basketball schedules and team picture information has been added to the website! Go to "Teacher/Sports Pages" and select "Galatia Sports." Only winter sports are listed at this time. Also, Red & White Night will be held on Friday, November 16. More details to come!!

Please join us for the Fall Carnival tomorrow night at the Grade School. It will be Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Grade School Gym. We will have a chili supper, silent auction, carnival games, and much more. See you there!


Bearcat Backers Booster Club Meeting, Thursday, November 1st, at the Community Center at 6:30 pm. During this meeting new officers will be elected. Please come out, support & get involved in the booster club which helps so many groups & organizations in our school district!

Thank you parents for cooking up such a great baking basket for the carnival. Both kindergaten teachers are very grateful.


Tomorrow is Day # 4 for Red Ribbon Week at the Grade School. We are going to "Give Drugs The Boot!!" Wear your boots.

Jr. High girls basketball practice for today, 10/31/18, has been cancelled.

SOPHOMORES
Butterbraid orders will be here this Friday, Nov 2nd around 1pm. Please make arrangements to get them home. We do not have freezer space to store them at school.

If you Take A Mouse To School she will see the Old Lady Who Isn't Afraid of Anything, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Mrs. Whatsit from A Wrinkle In Time.

Just a reminder ... If you are wanting your student to visit the dentist at school on November 28th & 29th. Permission forms are due by this Friday, November 2nd. Please contact Melinda Teal for a consent form. All students are eligible to participate. This will meet the dental requirement for grades Kindergarten, 2nd, & 6th.

Tomorrow is Day # 3 for Red Ribbon Week at the Grade School. We are going to have fun and "Take A Lead and Read!" Lets dress as a storybook character. Remember we have a list of guidelines. For example no masks or face paint will be allowed. See the attached guidelines.


The 2018 Yearbooks are in! Please see Ms. Harbin for your copy. There are extras for sale at $40 a copy!

Wednesday, Oct 31st, Student Council will be having the annual Costume Contest for JH/HS students. Judging will be at 8am. $1 to participate for your chance to win!

We are still needing items for our kindergarten basket for the carnival on Friday. Please send an item if you can. Thanks.
