Parents of junior high / high schools students - this is a reminder. Monday Jan 28 at 6pm in the HS cafeteria is the informational meeting for the summer of 2020 Washington DC trip. Your student hopefully brought home a RSVP invitation. If not , no problem. Just call the high school or email me at jcummins@galatiak12.org. We need to make sure we have enough free pizza for everyone. I hope to see you there!
Hi Grade School Parents, tomorrow, Monday, January 28, we will be making a change in where the buses will drop off in the mornings. Buses will now be letting students off at the front door of the grade school, which is the door facing the community center. Please use caution & patience as we make these changes. Thank you!

SIC will be hosting both an ACT and SAT Prep Class in February! Each class is $65. The ACT Prep Class is Feb. 9th, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The SAT Prep Class will be on Feb. 23rd, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Students receive college credit for participating. To register, see Mrs. Hamson.

Please join us on Monday, January 28th at 6:00pm for a 25-minute parent informational meeting! A tour director will be there to meet you and explain more about what we will do and see on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure to Washington, D.C. and Mt. Vernon (home of George Washington) during July 2020.
We will also be providing pizza for families at the meeting, so please RSVP back to my email or the school office as soon as possible to reserve a spot (and a slice!).
Additionally, a colorful RSVP packet is being sent home with your student. You can RSVP by filling out the bottom of the letter in the packet or replying to my email - either way is fine!

HS Girls GEC basketball tourney begins next week. All games will be played at Hardin Co. 1/28: (1)Gallatin County vs. (4)Hardin County @ 6:00, (2)Galatia vs. (3)Pope County @ 7:30. 1/31: Loser of game 1 vs Loser of game 2 @ 6:00, Winner of game 1 vs Winner of game 2 7:30.

HS boys play tonight, 2/22 @ SIC vs Gallatin Co @ 8, bus leaves @ 6. Bus for tonight’s JH boys BKB will leave @ 4:45, cheerleaders will not be attending. Wed, 2/23 JH boys basketball practice will be from 4-6. Volleyball open gym has been moved to 6-8.
