Message from the Galatia PTO: The PTO Father/Daughter Dance is this Saturday, March 23rd from 5 - 7 pm at the Community Center. There will be a DJ, refreshments, and a photographer. This is for Pre-K through 6th grade. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Last week, we started our class book. Our book is about what we want to be when we grow up. Each student has written and illustrated a page in our book.
I sent home envelopes last week so that you can order a copy.
Please return these order forms by this Friday so that I can finalize our book for shipment.

8th grade parents meeting this Thursday at 6:00 at the pre-k building. We will be discussing the 8th grade dance and t shirts.
We are working hard to make our schools as safe as possible. We have added a school hotline which can be used anonymously to report any suspicious activity which the caller thinks is a threat to the school or students. You can find out more information on the school website.
The boys baseball team will have a home game today vs Johnston City beginning @ 4:00. Come out and support our Bearcats!!!

Austyn and Sarah will be at Bondo’s this Friday, March 15 from 5-6:30 with a sign up sheet for Basketball camp. Camp will be June 5 & 6 at Greenville College. The girls will be staying the night and the cost is $20/player (to be collected Friday). This is for any girls that will be in 4-8 grade next school year.
Maridy Tso with AITC visited the 2nd grade classrooms yesterday and presented to the students about Milk and Butter. Students made a 3-D Cow and homemade butter. Thank you for visiting us Ms. Maridy.

The Galatia Grade School Drama Club will be performing Dreamworks, Shrek Jr. on Friday May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. Tickets go on sale at 8:00 Monday, March 18th. Tickets are $10 for reserved seating in the first 4 rows and $5 for General Admission. Shows start at 6:00 both nights.
JH high & HS students will have spring pictures tomorrow, March 12! The backdrop will be brown wooden shiplap. There are no forms and you do not pay at this time. Just have your kids ready to smile! Later a proof sheet will be sent home and you can place your order if you wish, at that time.
