Reminder: The State of Illinois law requires all students in kindergarten, second, sixth and ninth grade to have a dental exam completed. Students in these grades are required to show proof of having a dental exam completed by a licensed dentist to the school district by May 15, 2020. Exams must have been completed within eighteen months prior to the May 15th deadline. An appointment after the May 15th deadline will not meet this requirement. Report cards may be held if your student is not in compliance with this law. If your student is unable to meet this requirement, please contact me for a waiver form. This form is required to be filed with the school district prior to the May 15, 20120 deadline. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the Grade School between 8am – 3pm at 297-4520.

Junior and Seniors will be attending the Harrisburg High School Job/Career Fair tomorrow, March 10 from 9 to 10 at Harrisburg High School. If you have not sent a permission slip please write down that you give permission and list your name, student name, date and HHS Job Fair.

Congratulations to the Galatia FFA members that competed at district proficiency contest with their FFA record books. There were many first and second place finishes. Hannah, Tyler, and Kate move on to compete at state competition. Kate was also named District 5 Star State Farmer and moves on to compete for State Star Farmer of Illinois. Great job!
High school Scholar Bowl finished the regular season with both teams winning over NCOE. The JV had an incredible season and were undefeated! Varsity will be competing in Regionals on Monday at Hamilton Co. Good luck, Bearcats!
