Tomorrow, Oct. 16 students 2:00 dismissal. Parent/Teacher Conferences from 3:30-6:30pm. No appointments were made. In the GS & Jr/Sr High teachers will be in the gym where grade cards can be picked up.
Oct. 17 is a School Improvement Day with students having a 2:00 dismissal.

Three Galatia seniors attended the Salute to Illinois Scholars program at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham today. Salute to Illinois Scholars recognizes the academic achievement of students in the southern region of Illinois. The seniors who attended today’s event are AJ Hankins, Hannah Jackson and Nihl Morton.
For any sophomores who would like to order a class ring, Balfour will be here next Wednesday, Oct 16th to take orders. Forms were given to sophomores but any student can pick up a form on the office ledge and place an order.
Fall Carnival Coming Soon!
Rachel Parish from SIC will be at Galatia High School on Tuesday Oct. 15th to register eligible Juniors and Seniors for the Spring Semester. Students will be called from class to the Guidance Office to register.
Senior cap and gown orders are due on Wednesday, October 16th. Students received paperwork today.

Mrs. McCabe’s 2nd graders spent some time this afternoon talking about the different types of trees and how some trees lose their leaves in the fall. They collected leaves and made leaf rubbings in their Nature Journals.
