Today's (Oct 24) Jr. High Boys basketball practice has been moved to the HS from 6-8. Thursday, Oct 25 game @ Adams School vs. Thompsonville will begin at 5:30. The bus will leave the GS @ 4:15.

JH/HS Students---Tomorrow, Thursday, Oct 25th, is Team Gear day for Red Ribbon Week. Wear your school appropriate favorite local, college, and/or professional sports team attire.

Tonight, October 24, there will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for our HS Boys Basketball team @ Kelly's Kitchen from 4 - 8. Dinner includes spaghetti, drink, bread & dessert. $8 per person. To-go plates will be available!

Day 3, Wednesday, Oct 24th, for JH/HS Red Ribbon Week is dress like a Rock Star to Rock Out Drugs! Remember-school appropriate attire please.

Congratulations to the Galatia FFA on a good finish in the Section 25 FFA Job Interview Contest. The varsity team finished 3rd in the section with Kate Bond placing 4th and Haylee Brown 10th as individuals and Tyler Anderson placed 1st in the jv contest. Great job team!

Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days for Jr/Sr High School

Hey Galatia Parents please make sure you are never driving around a bus when they are parked for drop off or pick-up at either school. At the grade school do not use the road on the East side of the school where the buses park in the morning or close to the end of the day. Grade School Parents should always drop off your kids at the front south entrance of the grade school across from the community center. Also, for each of the school buildings please make sure you do not speed in the parking lots. Our students are very important to us and we want to make sure they are safe.

Message from Brooke Carlton, PTO President: Paragon delivery will be next Thursday the 25th from 3-5 pm at the Galatia Community Center. Please make arrangements for someone to pick up items. Money will be due by November 5th. Next weeks PTO meeting has been moved to Wednesday due to Paragon delivery on Thursday.

Harrisburg Community Health Dentists are coming again this year on November 28 & 29th to complete dental exams and cleanings. Any student can participate in this program. Remember dental exams are required by May for grades Kindergarten, second, and sixth grades. Contact your school nurse Melinda Teal for consent forms if you are interested in this program.

Check out this awesome mini-golf hole built by Galatia FFA members! This is a part of the Section 25 FFA Barn Golf Open to raise money for the Illinois FFA Foundation, where each school in Section 25 made a course.
