Jr. High girls 8th grade recognition night is this evening between JV and Varsity games. Jr. High boys are at Ewing this evening and HS girls are at Hamilton Co. Attached is the HS boys Sesser-Valier Tournament Bracket.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission is pleased to announce the 2019-20 Illinois State Scholars. Honorees are chosen based on exemplary ACT or SAT test scores and class rank. Congratulations to seniors Cameron Triplett, Tucker LaBarge and Allen Marvel on being selected.

Several Juniors and Seniors attended the CTE Spotlight Day at SIC. Students were able to attend sessions to learn more about CTE programs that SIC offers and tour the facilities. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about dual credit and certificate options.

Senior Kayli Clarida presents about the Early Childhood Education program to prospective high school students at the SIC Career and Technical Education Spotlight Day. Kayli is one of our seniors who is enrolled as a dual credit student at SIC.

Jr. High boys basketball practice for tonight, 12/7, is cancelled. Practice will be Saturday, 12/8 from 12 - 2 @ GGS.

Mrs. Mayberry's class is learning about different materials and their properties. The students engineered structures and tested them to see if they could withstand high winds.

Homecoming game is tomorrow, 12/7 @ 5:30 vs Crab Orchard. The Kitty Kats will perform during JV halftime. Kitty Kats please arrive by 5:45. The senior class will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a $280 gift card basket. $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.

The 2nd Annual High School Coloring Book is available to purchase in the Grade School Office. They are $5 each.
